After I noticed the ramped up fans the first time, I started to look for any tips on the internet. It's also the first time happening to me in any game. It looks like that the console tries to process the scene and the delay for the fans spinning up is enough to cause the overheating. I never started the game again after this, because I'm afraid it might damage my console. The PS4 shut down one time, after it stated, that it's too hot. My PS4 is like 2 years old and nearly perfectly dust-free (looked into it, as I started to get the issue). PS4 Pro Overheating during Slime Rancher? I just started to get into the game (like 5 hours into it) and noticed, that my PS4 Pro cranks up the fans quite hard, as soon as I enter some areas, i.e.: \- Cave farm-area \- starting-screen \- most of the menus \- laboratory (especially here) I don't really know what to do about it.
